Despite a challenging security climate and a slowdown in Israeli high-tech, the Israeli cyber industry continues to secure significant investments. Zafran Security, an Israeli startup developing a risk and mitigation platform to identify and neutralize exploitable threats within organizations, has raised USD 40 million.

The investment will fuel Zafran’s growth and global expansion. Goldfarb Gross Seligman advised Sequoia Capital, which led the Series B round, with participation from existing investors.  The Goldfarb team included Michael Heller, Gal Barak, and Asaf Efraim, along with Ronen Hausirer and Eylon Goldberg from the International and Hi-Tech Department.

Meanwhile, in capital markets, Goldfarb Gross Seligman also advised Paz Oil Company Ltd. on its public offering of commercial papers valued at NIS 300 million. The company was represented by partner Roy Reiss and associate Yonatan Nagar from the Banking and Finance Department.
