Israeli Cyber Giant Check Point Buys Lakera for USD 300M

Check Point Software Technologies, Israel’s leading cybersecurity company, acquired Lakera, a Swiss startup focused on AI security, in a USD 300 million transaction.

The deal will transform Lakera’s Zurich office into Check Point’s global AI security R&D center, expanding its capabilities against rapidly evolving AI-driven cyber threats.

The move reflects growing demand for advanced defense solutions as organizations seek to safeguard networks and infrastructure from new AI-enabled risks.
