Israeli cybersecurity company Apiiro raises USD 100 million
Cybersecurity company Apiiro has raised a USD100 million Series B financing round led by General Catalyst, with participation by Greylock and Kleiner Perkins. The company did not share the valuation. The total raised so far is USD 135 million, as per Crunchbase.
The Tel Aviv-based company’s solution identifies risks and weaknesses in the code of cloud-based applications at the development stage and when they are released.
General Catalyst was represented by Goldfarb Seligman, notably partner Michael Heller, associate Nicole Dillonand intern Nitzan Aharoni of the firm’s International Corporate and Securities Department.
According to an article in Globes, Apiiro had been in talks in September to be acquired by Palo Alto Networks for more than USD 550 million but the deal did not work out.
