Israeli Cybersecurity Company Sentra Closes USD 50m Financing
Sentra, a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity company specializing in cloud data security, has closed a USD50 million Series B financing, led by Israeli investment firm Key1 Capital.
The round strengthens Israel’s status as a global cyber innovation hub and accelerates Sentra’s growth across international markets.
Herzog advised the lead investor in the transaction spearheaded by Hanan Haviv, Head of Herzog’s High-Tech Department, with key support from Shany Zalmanovich, Gilead Reutlinger, Ori Yosef, and Maya Yossef. Additional legal support included Dan Sharot, Shira Shacham Gold, Eitan Rozen, and Tal Karlewski (Commercial IP); Ruly Ber, Oded Kramer, and Gal Mechtinger (Technology Regulation); Yael Zigel and Maram Khoury (Employment); and Shachar Porat and Niran Ferman (Employee Benefits).
In a separate deal also comprising Hanan Haniv, the firm advised global biotech company QIAGEN, a leading global provider of Sample to Insight solutions, in connection with its agreement to acquire Genoox, an AI-powered Israeli startup, for USD70 million, with additional milestone payments of up to USD10 million.
