Israeli medical device company, Memic Innovative Surgery (“Memic”) completes USD 96 million Series D Financing Round
Greenberg Traurig has advised Israeli medical device company, Memic Innovative Surgery (“Memic”) on the completion of its USD 96 million Series D Financing Round.
Memic is dedicated to transforming robot-assisted surgery with its proprietary technology.
Leading GT’s team as US Counsel for Memic were Bob Grossman, Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Israel Practice; and Miami Corporate Attorney Maria Walker, with support from New York Corporate Of-Counsel Michele Kulerman. Additional team members included Barry Schindler, Israel Practice Shareholder and Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Patent Prosecution Group, who handled all Intellectual Property related angles, and Frank Cordero, Co-Chair of the Miami Tax Practice, who handled all tax elements for the deal.
Founded in 2021, Memic recently secured FDA approval on its Hominis robotic-assisted surgical platform, which delivers seamless robotic surgery that enables simple, minimally invasive and cost-effective procedures.
