Israeli startup Cymbio sold to PayPal

PayPal, the US-based global payments and digital commerce company, has agreed to buy Cymbio, an Israeli commerce-technology company that builds infrastructure enabling global brands to synchronize product, inventory, and order data across multiple commerce environments.

The transaction strengthens PayPal’s expansion into AI-driven shopping, including use across AI-based platforms such as Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. 

Erdinast, Ben Nathan, Toledano advised Cymbio on the deal led by partner Viva Gayer, associates Amit Horovitz, Shahaf Efraim, and Hadar Vinograd, with support from partners Kobi Barkan (IP), Dr. Eran Lampert and Tal Alon (Tax), Halit Simhoni and Adi Mashiach (Labor), partner Lior Etgar and associate Hadar Lieberman-Hadad (Privacy and Information Security), and Yuval Naim and John Alcalay (Arbitration).
