Israeli VCs Make TIME List

Categories: Hi-Tech

TIME magazine, in collaboration with Statista, released its first ranking of the top 350 U.S. venture capital firms for 2025, selecting winners from more than 10,000 candidates. Israeli firms Group 11 and NFX are the only non-U.S. headquartered funds to make the list. Evaluation criteria included fundraising strength, investment activity, and exit performance (30%).

Founded in 2012 by Israeli-American investor Dovi Frances, Group 11 has deployed over USD 700 million, manages more than USD 1.4 billion, and backed seven unicorns, including Navan (formerly TripActions), which plans an IPO in 2025, and Next Insurance, sold to Munich Re for USD 2.6 billion in 2024. The fund also invests in Dream Security, HomeLight, Sunbit, Masterschool, Tipalti, Venn City, AeroPay, Healthee, and BridgeWise.

NFX, co-founded by Gigi Levy-Weiss, has similarly built a strong cross-border presence backing early-stage startups in gaming, marketplaces, and fintech.
