January 2024 in Israeli tech funding: USD473m in 17 deals

There was a bright spot of business news in January when Calcalist reported that over USD473 million were raised by Israeli startups across 17 deals during the first month of the year.
This is a 75% increase compared to the USD270 million raised by startups in January 2023.
Of the 17 deals, almost half (8) were either for Series A or Seed rounds. The biggest deal of the month was recorded by cybersecurity company Silverfort which raised a USD116 million Series D for its identity security platform. According to the company, the investment follows another record year of more than 100% growth where Silverfort added tens of millions in new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
