Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance broker arm of Marsh McLennan and a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist, has announced plans to buy Re Solutions, Israel’s leading independent reinsurance broker.

Greenberg Traurig is acting for the buyer, led by Joey Shabot, the Tel Aviv Managing Shareholder, together with Fort Lauderdale Shareholder Fred Karlinsky, with the support of Ephraim Schmeidler, Aaron R. Katz and Igal Rojzman.
