Noname Security raises USD 135 million at a USD 1 billion valuation

Noname Security has raised USD 135 million, at a USD 1 Billion valuation mark, making it the latest start-up to join the cybersecurity unicorn club.
Led by Georgian and Lightspeed, with participation from Insight Partners, Forgepoint and others, the funding will be used to expand its R&D. The funding comes just six months after Noname closed a USD 60 million Series B round, less than a year after raising USD 25 million in a Series A, after emerging from stealth last December
Noname now claims to support one-fifth of Fortune 500 companies, and has tripled its headcount in the past six months to more than 200 employees.
Yigal Arnon advised Georgian as a leading investor, with participation from Ben Sandler, Chaim Cohen, Neta Goshen Brami and Basel Sader.
