Ondas buys Israeli drone company Airobotics

Airoboticsbhas been bought by US company Ondas through a reverse triangular merger that is expected to close in H2 2022. Once valued at USD 240 million, the company is being sold for less than half its IPO valuation last summer.
Airobotics, which develops autonomous unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and automated data analysis and visualization platforms.
Herzog Fox & Neeman advised Airobotics in the transaction, which was led by partners Yuval Meidar, Gilad Yacubovich, Dr. Ehab Farah, Shachar Porat, Niv Sivan, Orly Katzir, Ohad Elkeslassy, Gal Eschet, Ron Ben-Menachem and Iris Achmon, along with associates Tomer Amsalem, Ofri Mor, Yara Ayoub, Tslil Bar Bainvol, Guy Cohen and Dor Furer. Akerman LLP and Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer Baratz are serving as legal counsel to Ondas in the deal, led by Yael Baratz, Chair of the Corporate and Technology Licensing Practice Group, along with Partners Michael Nussbaum and Shlomi Arbel, with associate Yossi Morel.
