Rapak Renewable Energy buys Synergy Renewable Energy for up to NIS 300m

Rapac Energy, the renewable energy division of Israel’s Rapac Communications and Infrastructure Group, has acquired full ownership of Synergy Renewable Energy for up to NIS 300 million.

Founded in 2017 by the Almog-Zakai family, Aviad Mor, and Dr. Yaakov Grossman, Synergy is recognized as a trailblazer in Israel’s renewable energy sector. The company specializes in dual-use solar projects, combining installations on water reservoirs and rooftops with high-voltage solutions. Its portfolio includes groundbreaking initiatives like Israel’s largest floating solar system at Hof Carmel, partnerships with defence organizations, and solar projects valued at over NIS 1.1 billion.

This acquisition underscores Rapac’s strategic focus on expanding its footprint in sustainable energy.

The multidisciplinary Erdinast, Ben Nathan, Toledano team advising Rapac included Shay Dayan , Oren Tal, Assaf Hadar, Eyal Birenberg, Michal Rothschild, Shelly Wechselmann Bach, Dr. Eran Lampert, and Fadi Ghandur.

Herzog advised Synergy, with partners Ran Hai and Moshe Minster, alongside attorney Daniel Ofer leading the transaction.
