SEMI and Israel Railways Sign Electrification Agreement

SEMI, a global leader in rail electrification, has signed an agreement with Israel Railways Ltd. to construct electrification infrastructure along 65 km of the Eastern Railway from Hadera to Lod and 30 km of tracks along Highway 431.
Shibolet represented SEMI, which also serves as the Design-Build-Maintain Contractor for Israel Railways’ national heavy rail electrification project.
This agreement marks a significant step in modernizing Israel’s railway network, enhancing efficiency and sustainability in rail transport.
