SentinelOne Acquires Israel’s Prompt Security

Categories: Corporate and M&A

SentinelOne, a leading US-based cybersecurity company, has acquired Prompt Security, an Israeli startup specializing in AI security for enterprise environments.

Founded just two years ago, Prompt raised USD 23 million from a strong investor group that included Hetz Ventures, Jump Capital, Okta, and F5. The company’s platform secures every AI touchpoint across organizations, scanning prompts and model responses to detect data leaks, block unsafe content, and counter AI-specific threats.

The acquisition strengthens SentinelOne’s position in the GenAI security space, adding Prompt’s cutting-edge monitoring and threat detection to its broader product suite. Prompt’s rapid growth and investor backing reflect growing demand for safeguarding generative AI applications in enterprise environments.

Prompt Security was represented by Meitar, including: Mike Rimon, Yasmin Ziv, Tali Lungin, Ori Kaufman, Yona Schwebel, Shahar Kedem (Corporate), Ignacio González, Michael Haberman, Orly Calderon (IP), Lilach Shacham Kaneti, Rom Givaty Rozentzvaig (Labor Law), Dr. Shimrit Itay-Horev, Itay Levy, Dr. Denis Primakov (Regulation), Odelya Lazimi (Tax) and Assaf Moses (Competition).

Erdinast Ben Nathan Toledano advised both Hetz Ventures, which led Prompt’s seed round, and Jump Capital, which led the Series A. The legal team included Roy Caner, Jonathan Achiron, and Asaf Hadar.

Fenwick advised the buyer, SentinelOne.
