SoftBank takes stake in Israel’s most active venture capital firm, OurCrowd.
The Japanese tech giant’s USD 25 million investment is being made through SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2, in exchange for an undisclosed stake in the company.
White & Case acted for SoftBank, led by London partners Daniel Turgel and Emmie Jones, together with associate Francis Brown.
OurCrowd has deployed over USD 1.8 Billion into some 280 portfolio companies and 30 funds across five continents.
SoftBank has previously invested in Israeli-founded firms including AnyVision, eToro, Redis Labs and Trax, according to PitchBook.
