“This is once again an exciting investment by Softbank in an innovative Israeli company at the forefront of the converging industries of technology, gaming and marketing,” said White & Case partner Dan Turgel, who led the Firm’s deal team.
StreamElements is an end-to-end platform for livestream and video on demand production, monetization, audience engagement, brand sponsorships, and influencer marketing. Their toolset allows them to track performance through data analytics, increase production value for their stream through graphics and effects, and generate revenue through tipping.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Dan Turgel with support from partner Marc Israel (both London), counsel Earle Miller (Los Angeles) and associates Helen Pantelides, Irina Kozlova, Nick Crawford, Francis Brown and Luc Rosenberg.
SoftBank Vision Fund 2 is leading this latest round, which also includes new backers PayPal Ventures and MoreTech, as well as previous investors State of Mind Ventures, Pitango, Menorah and Mivtach Shamir.
