Thoma Bravo picks up Ping Identity for USD 2.8 Billion in an all-cash deal
This past week, the enterprise identity management company, Ping Identity announced its acquisition by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, which is taking it private for USD 2.8 billion.
Identity management remains a very hot area in the world of enterprise IT, given the increasing number of cyberattacks and breaches. Thoma Bravo has been on a shopping spree for cybersecurity firms in recent years, with its acquisitions including Sophos, Proofpoint and Sailpoint Technologies.
