Tomatech Seeds and Nirit Seeds are acquired for NIS 200 million by private equity fund

Private equity fund AP Partners, together with Discount Capital, the investment banking arm of the Discount Group, have acquired Tomatech Seeds and Nirit Seeds for NIS 200 million.
The two target companies specialize in identifying genetic markers in vegetables and breeding vegetable seeds, primarily tomatoes.
AP Partners was supported by partners and associates from various departments at Lipa Meir & Co, including the International, Commercial, Competition and Labour departments. The multi-disciplinary team was led by Gary Copelovitz, further comprising Dr. Yariv Ilan, Gregory Irgo, Tal Asulin Menahemov, Yarden Hadar and Or Bar Gur.
