Torq raises USD140m at USD1.2b valuation

Israeli cyber startup Torq said on Sunday it raised USD 140 million at a USD 1.2 billion valuation, as it looks to speed up adoption of its artificial intelligence-driven security operations center (SOC) platform and expand into the U.S. market.
The round, which introduces Torq to a unicorn status, was led by Merlin Ventures, with participation from Insight Partners, Greenfield Partners, Notable Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Evolution Equity Partners.
