Nofar USA, the American arm of Israel-based Nofar Energy (TASE: NOFR), has entered into development arrangements with Qcells USA Corp. for two utility-scale energy storage projects in Texas.
The projects—Bracero Pecan (230MW/460MWh) in Reeves County and Fairway (120MW/240MWh) in Freestone County—will provide a combined capacity of 350MW with a two-hour storage duration totaling 700MWh. These installations aim to enhance grid resiliency and support Texas’s transition to renewable energy.
