The Israeli Civil Procedure Regulations, 5744-1984 are the administrative legislation that governs the entire process of hearing and conducting civil trials, from the initial filing of a civil claim to the final verdict, as well as the appeal process. The Israeli Ministry of Justice set out to conduct a substantive reform in the rules of Israeli Civil procedure, in order to adapt them to the modern era and to expedite the adjudication of civil cases.
