Regulations have been Approved which Enable Employers to send Wages Slip Online

Regulations which were recently approved by the Knesset will enable employers to deliver wages slips to employees online. Section 24 of the Wage Protection Law, 5718-1958 provides that employers must send employees written salary slips, and the Minister was empowered to determine, after consultation with employee and employer organizations and after the approval of the Labor Committee of the Knesset, ‘special ways of delivering the wages slips, to categories of employers or employees’. Notwithstanding that provision, until now no regulations were promulgated addressing the ways by means of which the wages slip will be sent, and whether this should be physical service or whether it can be online.
