What is good for Europe is good for Israel: EU import reform passes in Knesset

A new set of legislation consisting of four laws aims to combat the high cost of living in Israel by aligning with European Union standards for consumer goods and streamlining import procedures.

Under this reform, Israel will allow the import of products from any supplier holding EU approval. This shift is anticipated to enhance the variety of available goods in the Israeli market.

As a result, consumers can expect new food items, toiletries, electronic appliances, and other products, all at prices that are currently lower in Europe.
