Entera Bio raises USD275m in record Israeli biotech PIPE financing
Entera Bio announced the pricing of an oversubscribed USD 275 million private placement, led by existing investor BVF Partners.
The financing marks the largest Israeli biotechnology PIPE transaction to date and includes participation from new healthcare investors, including Longitude Capital, Vivo Capital, TCGX, Spruce Street Capital, Venrock Healthcare Capital Partners, RA Capital Management, Perceptive Advisors, Driehaus Capital Management, Logos Capital, and Catalio Capital Management.
Entera expects the proceeds, together with its existing cash and cash equivalents, to extend its cash runway into 2030 and fully support Phase 3 registrational studies for EB613, its first-in-class oral PTH(1-34) peptide tablet in development for the treatment of osteoporosis.
Greenberg Traurig represented Entera on the transaction, with a team led by Drew Altman, Sami Ghneim, Angel Marcial, and Joey Shabot.
