First international bonds offering for Israel Discount Bank as it issues USD 800 million in senior bonds

Israel Discount Bank has issued USD 800 million in senior bonds – its first international bond offering, and one of the largest offerings by an Israeli bank.

Herzog advised the underwriters on the transaction, led by Ron Ben-Menachem (Capital Markets), Nir Dash (Capital Markets), Mohammad Mawasi (Capital Markets), Irit Roth (Banking), Dr. Ehab Farah (Tax), and Fanny Elgrably (Capital Markets).

Cleary Gottlieb acted as international counsel to the underwriters.

The Meitar team representing the bank in the transaction included: Shachar Hadar, Yael Weiss, Ran Camchy, Michael Bricker, Victor Terner, Avi Berk, Tammy Sand, Yakir Arbili, Inbar Cohen.

The Davis Polk corporate team, that acted as international counsel for Discount Bank, included partners Reuven B. Young and Michael Kaplan, associate Alexander W.
