Idan Financial Instruments has won a government tender to establish Adir Capital, a new investment fund focused on Israeli companies developing advanced defense and dual-use technologies.

The tender was launched by Israel’s Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Defense as part of efforts to increase access to capital for companies operating across the defense-tech sector and strengthen domestic development and manufacturing capabilities.

Under the tender terms, Adir Capital will be eligible for a state guarantee of up to NIS 100 million, subject to meeting the required conditions.

The fund is expected to invest in Israeli companies developing technologies with defense and dual-use applications, supporting growth in a sector that has attracted increasing strategic and investor interest in recent years.

Shibolet advised Idan Financial Instruments on the tender process, with a team led by Amir Iliescu, Ronit Niederman, and Maayan Berg.
