Israel Innovation Day strengthens UK-Israel investment ties
Israel Innovation Day 2026 at the London Stock Exchange brought together investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry leaders from the UK and Israel to promote cross-border investment and growth.
Supported by the British Embassy Israel, the event highlighted Israel’s strengths in AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and sustainability, while positioning London as a key financial and commercial hub for Israeli growth-stage companies seeking international expansion.
The initiative connected 23 Israeli technology companies with more than 170 UK investors, corporates, and industry stakeholders, creating opportunities for fundraising, partnerships, customer development, and broader market entry.
Economic ties between the two countries continue to deepen. Bilateral trade now stands at approximately GBP 6 billion, while more than 400 Israeli companies have established or expanded operations in the UK over the past five years, creating more than 4,000 jobs and generating around GBP 1 billion in investment.
British Ambassador to Israel Simon Walters emphasized the UK’s continued commitment to expanding economic, scientific, technological, academic, and cultural cooperation with Israel.
