Israel’s energy expansion opens new opportunities for US investors

Categories: Projects & Energy

Epstein Rosenblum Maoz partners Amnon Epstein and Asaf Rimon, co-heads of the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure Department, have published an analysis in The National Law Review examining the expected transformation of Israel’s energy market over the next two decades and the potential for deeper Israel-US investment and infrastructure cooperation.

The article points to more than 20 major projects expected to advance across natural gas expansion, electricity grid modernization, renewable energy, storage, transmission, and distribution infrastructure.

It argues that the scale of planned investment could create significant opportunities for US investors and developers prepared to enter the market early and navigate Israel’s regulatory, planning, and commercial environment. They also highlight the reverse opportunity, with Israeli energy companies increasingly looking to participate in US infrastructure projects.

The analysis emphasizes that successful cross-border partnerships will depend on complementary capabilities, aligned expectations, clear governance structures, and consistent communication between Israeli and US partners.
