Nebius acquires Inferize in USD100-150m AI infrastructure deal
Nebius has acquired Israeli AI infrastructure startup Inferize in a transaction estimated at between USD 100 million and USD 150 million.
Inferize was founded in early 2026 by Guy Bortnikov and Lior Gorbonos, both members of the founding team of Granulate, and had been operating in stealth with a 17-person team in Tel Aviv. The company raised a USD 10 million seed round before the acquisition.
The startup develops technology designed to reduce idle GPU capacity when AI demand changes, helping infrastructure providers scale inference workloads more efficiently and lower the cost of serving AI requests. Its technology is expected to be integrated into Nebius’ Token Factory platform.
The deal is the latest step in Nebius’ expansion of its AI software and infrastructure capabilities, following other recent Israeli acquisitions and investments aimed at building a broader full-stack AI platform.
Arnon, Tadmor-Levy represented Nebius in the transaction, with a team led by Kobi Ben-Chitrit, Liron Hacohen, Tani Sterman, Raviv Finer, and Matanel Kopiatzky.
Meitar advised Inferize, led by Itay Frishman, Keren Sadeh, Romi Levin, and Shir Golde.
