Nofar Energy buys 92.5% of Highlight Renewable Energy for NIS200m
Nofar Energy has signed an agreement to acquire 92.5% of Highlight from real estate entrepreneur Gabi Buskila for approximately NIS 200 million.
Highlight holds rights to 30 solar power generation and energy storage projects in various stages of development and construction. The portfolio has estimated generation capacity of 850 MW and storage capacity of 4.4 GWh.
The acquisition will be carried out by Nofar Israel, which is managed by Nadav Barkan. Nofar said the transaction is a strategic move that will strengthen its local project pipeline, deepen its solar and storage activity, and create synergies with its existing renewable energy platform in Israel.
The remaining shares in Highlight will continue to be held by the company’s entrepreneurs.
Arnon, Tadmor-Levy represented the main shareholder of Highlight in the transaction, with a team led by Ido Prishta, Arthur Gorlik, and Lynn Neumann.
