OpenAI and Anthropic deepen commercial presence in Israel

Categories: Hi-Tech

Global AI companies are increasing their on-the-ground presence in Israel as they compete for enterprise, government, healthcare, financial services, and defense-sector customers.

OpenAI has begun building a direct commercial presence, hiring Motti Hadas and Ido Perlson to develop the Israeli market. The company is also working through local partners including CloudZone, Abra, and AllCloud, with its Israeli activity expected to report into its UK-based operations.

Anthropic is similarly expanding through Israeli partners, including CloudZone, Abra, and AllCloud. The partnerships are designed to help larger organizations deploy Claude-based solutions while addressing local procurement, regulatory, cybersecurity, and integration requirements.

Elon Musk-linked AI tools are also reportedly being marketed locally through E-Square, the AI consulting and development arm of Malam Team, reflecting a broader shift by major AI vendors toward local representation and implementation support rather than relying solely on self-service access.
