Phoenix Group acquires 49% of Meshek Energy’s renewable and storage portfolio valued at NIS610m
The Phoenix Group is acquiring a 49% stake in Meshek Energy’s renewable energy and energy storage portfolio, which has a valuation of at least NIS 610 million.
The portfolio includes nearly 117 megawatts of photovoltaic assets and over 300 MWh of storage capacity. Meshek Energy will retain 51% of the partnership and continue managing the assets as general partner. The deal is yet another example of the rapid growth within Israel’s renewable energy sector.
Epstein Rosenblum Maoz advised Phoenix on the transaction, with the team being led by Ron Abelski, Amnon Epstein, and Chen Weiss, with support from Errel Peli, Nir Shaked, Mili Shknevski, Ori Nehmad, Noa Polansky, Talia Sigad, and Ori Barda.
Meshek Energy was advised by Shira Margalit, Adam Eytan, and Adiel Melamed of Herzog.
