Rimon and Tidhar form joint venture to pursue Tel Aviv Metro tenders
Rimon Group and Tidhar Group have agreed to create a jointly owned platform that will pursue infrastructure tenders connected to the Tel Aviv metropolitan area’s planned Metro system.
Tidhar will initially own 55% of the venture and Rimon 45%, with the parties aiming to transition to a 50-50 structure once the necessary approvals are obtained.
The new entity is expected to compete for NTA contracts covering some of the project’s most technically demanding work, including tunneling and underground station construction.
The partnership brings together Tidhar’s large-scale construction and project management capabilities with Rimon’s experience in underground works and tunneling, giving the companies a combined platform for competing on one of Israel’s largest transportation infrastructure programs.
LIPA & CO. advised Rimon Group on the agreement, with the team led by Zuriel Lavie and Lilach Hock.
