SoundHound AI to acquire LivePerson in USD43m deal
SoundHound AI agreed to acquire LivePerson in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately USD 43 million, representing a premium to LivePerson’s recent trading levels.
The combination will bring together SoundHound’s voice and agentic AI capabilities with LivePerson’s digital messaging and customer engagement platform, creating a unified omnichannel conversational AI solution serving enterprises across industries. SoundHound expects the transaction to expand its global footprint and enterprise customer base, with the combined business operating across more than 30 countries and serving major corporate clients.
SoundHound was represented by Latham & Watkins, with Herzog acting as Israeli advisor on the deal. The Herzog team was led by partners Ron Ben-Menachem, Mohammad Mawasi, Shachar Porat, Orly Katzir, and Adar Bengom (Ortal).
