US-Israel Innovation Exchange launches to deepen bilateral commercial ties
The Michigan Israel Business Accelerator has launched the US-Israel Innovation Exchange following a summit that brought together 80 leaders from the economic development, corporate, and government sectors involved in US-Israel business relations.
The summit concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding establishing a national platform for market intelligence, investment missions, Israeli business delegations, and joint technology pilots. The initiative is intended to consolidate several existing programs into a broader US-wide framework supporting partnerships, cross-border investment, and job creation.
The program will focus on areas including capital deployment, technology transfer, and the role Israeli innovation can play in regional US economies. According to MIBA, Israeli companies operating in New York alone support more than 28,500 jobs and generate approximately USD 13.3 billion in economic value.
MIBA said the new platform is designed to extend similar commercial connections across additional US states and create a more coordinated channel between Israeli companies and American industries, investors, and communities.
