VAST Data raises USD 83 million at USD 3.7 Billion valuation

Israeli-US universal data storage solutions company VAST Data has announced the completion of a USD 83 million Series D financing round at a company valuation of USD 3.7 Billion.

The company has more than tripled its valuation since raising USD 100 million (also represented by H-F & Co.) in April 2020 at a company valuation of USD 1.2 Billion.

The H-F & Co. team included corporate partners, Nitzan Hirsch-Falk, Dana Elon and associate Nitzan Chen, together with partners Adi Gillat and Omri Talmon on the IP, privacy and commercial matters.

This latest financing round was led by Tiger Global with “strong participation from Nvidia and other existing investors,” according to a report in Globes.

VAST Data was founded in 2016 by CEO Renen Hallak, VP R&D Shachar Fienblit and VP Products Jeff Denworth. The company has more than 200 employees in its New York City headquarters and Israeli development centers in Tel Aviv and Haifa.
